Putting my experience playing GTA: Vice City for years to work I pulled onto the BQE with two passengers, cutting traffic and ogling the security measures on the Verrazano as we crossed into Staten Island. The $11 cover charge for that oversized landfill was paid in exact change and we made our way to the huge gas tanks we’d seen on the way into the city a few days earlier.
It had been cold outside. So cold that I hadn’t gotten out and explored anything in a couple weeks. So when a friend told me that we could get into a huge active arena I figured it’d be a good place to set up a rope swing and try it out. So We stuffed a ton of rope into a bag, grabbed some cameras and headed off.

Sometimes you just have to unclip the harness, say fuck it, and take a real risk. Not just a risk of legal trouble or possible injury, but a risk of certain death. Take a deep breath, find your balance, and just enjoy what it feels like to push your own limits. If you’re not scaring the shit out of yourself every now and then, you’re not doing it right.
Valentine’s Day? Pffft… For anti-social adventurers its nothing but another reminder of their own shortcomings and bad choices. Wanna get over it quick? I got your prescription. Step One: Find a tall building with a couple elevators. Remember the taller the building, the faster the elevator. Step Two: Get into the cab and pull the doors open between floors. Step three: Climb out and up onto the roof while a friend operates the controls.
